HushPoll is an anonymous polling platform that allows users to create, share, and participate in polls while maintaining voter anonymity. We offer both free and paid tiers with varying features and capabilities.
3. User Accounts and Registration
- You may use our service anonymously or create a registered account
- Account information must be accurate and up-to-date
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- One person may not maintain multiple accounts
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use HushPoll to:
- Create polls with illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Harass, threaten, or violate the rights of others
- Spam or send unsolicited communications
- Attempt to manipulate poll results through automated means
- Reverse engineer or attempt to access our source code
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
5. Content and Intellectual Property
- You retain ownership of content you create (poll questions, options)
- You grant us a license to display and process your content
- We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms
- Our platform, code, and design are protected by intellectual property laws
6. Paid Services and Billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
- All fees are non-refundable unless required by law
- We may change pricing with 30 days notice
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
7. Privacy and Data Protection
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. We are committed to maintaining the anonymity of poll participants and protecting user privacy.
8. Service Availability
- We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
- We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HushPoll shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HushPoll from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our service or violation of these terms.
11. Termination
- You may terminate your account at any time
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
- Upon termination, your access to paid features will cease
- We may retain certain data as required by law or our Privacy Policy
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where HushPoll is incorporated. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide notice of material changes and the updated terms will be effective 30 days after posting.
